Emerging Technologies Changing Public Library Service Delivery Models article-
I found this article extremely interesting. It was well done and included information and explained all the avenues of social networking that I have had quesitons about. It also went on the explain what libriaries in the future will look like. I like that we are moving into the networking world and enjoy how it all comes together and works so well.

  1. I agree. As more and more become connected to social networking it will only get better. It is already amazing how many already are. You're right on about this article. It did spell out in great details how these social networking tools work, and gave great examples of how to use them and where they are being used already. Its going to interesting to see how are social networking changes. It has already changed so much in the last few years. I feel like i'm in the know with all the modern gadgets. But were not even in this class for 2 weeks and I've learned a ton. Great post.... TJ

  2. I agree with you that this article was interesting. It did spell out some very interesting facts about social networking. The ideas that many libraries were already implementing were also very cool. Libraries are using so much of this new technology in hopes of getting the attention of the today's youth. I know that if my library had provided me with all this new technology I would have definitely gone to the library more often. The future is looking good for us teachers. With so many new technologies, networking will become the norm and I am glad to be here to experience it.

I to found this article to be interesting to see how the advancement of technologies and social networking will change the way we will use libraries, and the resources that will be available in the future. This will give students along with the rest of the community multiple resources for attaining vital information to be successful in whatever they choose to peruse. The possibilities of receiving information are endless.
