My web page is: http://sites.google.com/site/rebeccavineyard/

Check it out. It was fun to design. I added my resume, a picture of me with a bit of an introduction. Then I added how to find me on a "Finding Rebecca" page. Then I posted a web address of my school tennis team. I also very much enjoyed working with this site. It was simple and easy to navigate to make changes, or add new information. I hope everyone can see it and can give a little feedback as to how they think it looks.

Plaxo and linken are great and easy to use. You can upload your contacts, information about yourself, your resume and what you are doing. I think this is the way of the future and I like the idea of being able to have it all together. I can go to just one place for all my stuff. Also, other people can see what is happening with me.
A personal website is fine, but I think it may be difficult for others in the same field to find you. It seems easier to go to a site like plaxo and you can see everyone there, the website is already up and running you just add in your info and you are off. A personal website would be great, but it takes more work and I would be worried the right people would not see it.
I find this social networking fascinating and fun to work with. It makes life a little easier to know about all the sites and be able to chose what works best for me.

I just spent some time on Librarything. I really like that I can catalog my books and see what others have said about the type of books that I like. They offer reviews of books and suggest others that I might like to read. I couldn't post a picture though, I tried when I personalized my account. I like that I can keep track of my library books and can see what others are reading and thinking about. Check out my library thing at:

check this out, it is so funny... although the boyfriend doesn't think it's that funny. What a fun website to play around with and have some fun.
I found a few things that would be fun and emailed them off to friends and relatives. But this one is the best. In the bottom of the Grand Canyon during August, sitting in a creek!!!

I enjoyed and have used youtube in the past. It was fun going through videos and choosing one for the blog. I have found the short video's for our class purpose to be of great help. They are short and to the point. The short video is useful for the classroom setting. I will incorporate these video's into my classroom.

I found a podcast with Oscar Wegner. He is a tennis instructor. It is a lesson on the backhand volley. Very Interesting. I enjoyed it.
